Fall 2025 Retreat

Hi Friends!

I recently had the privilege of hosting my very first retreat in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Fall is my favorite time of year, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

The facility, Holly Mountain Lodge, has some of the most beautiful views, so we were able to enjoy God’s creation and have a sweet time of fellowship and crafting. Paula takes such good care of us while we’re there. The theme for this retreat was “Give Thanks”.

On Thursday evening, the start of the retreat, we spent some time getting ourselves organized and opened the first of the gifts I had planned for the weekend, which included a book written by Ann Voskamp called “One Thousand Gifts: Devotional”. Friday, I taught a workshop where we created a Gratitude Journal. In between devotionals and group projects, there was also free time to work on individual projects.

On Saturday, we created another group project, which was an Altered Little Golden Book. Sunday morning, we had some time to finish up projects, pack up and, say our goodbyes.

Hosting a retreat like this has been a dream of mine for many years and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity. This retreat was extra special because my daughter was able to attend as well. She helped create some fun gifts for each of the ladies

I could go on and on sharing about this wonderful weekend. It’s difficult to express how meaningful it was. Between seeing old friends, getting to know new friends better, teaching, sharing our hearts, laughing and creating, my heart was full. I want to express my gratitude again for each of the ladies that made the sacrifice to come, and for the support and patience they had with me. I can’t wait to host more retreats soon. I’ve already been brainstorming for the next one. If you’re reading this, and weren’t able to attend this retreat, I hope you’ll consider attending one in the future. I will be sure to post more about that down the road.

Thank you so much for your support. This community means so much to me and I am grateful for each and every one of you!

Until next time…
